Cookie policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on unparalleled.co.za. Our Privacy policy explains more broadly how we handle personal information.

Who operates the website

The website is operated by Unparalleled (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/126177/07, at 387 Cremant Street, Val de Vie, Paarl, 7646, South Africa. For questions, contact Elze Sheard at info@unparalleled.co.za.

What cookies do

Cookies are small files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can support essential functions, remember choices or measure activity. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels, which may operate without setting a cookie.

A session cookie usually expires when the browser session ends. A persistent cookie remains until its expiry date or until you delete it. First-party cookies come from the website you visit. Third-party cookies come from another provider.

What the website uses

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website, such as which pages are visited and how visitors find us. It gives us combined statistics; we do not use it to identify you. Google explains how it handles this data in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We also use Metricool, a Spanish social media and analytics platform, to count visits to the website alongside Google Analytics. Its script records page views and basic technical details, such as your browser and the page that referred you. In our testing, it did not set cookies.

We do not run advertising trackers. Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar are not active on the website.

Our home page includes an embedded YouTube video. When the home page loads, YouTube, which is owned by Google, sets its own cookies in your browser, even if you don’t play the video. We don’t control these cookies or receive the information they collect. Google explains how it uses them in its cookie information.

The home page also shows images from our Instagram account. These images load from Meta’s servers, so Meta receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads. In our testing, this did not set cookies.

WordPress and our hosting services may use cookies for essential functions or administration. Administrator login cookies only apply to people signing into the website’s administration area.

The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies set when the website is visited.

Your choices

You can use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking third-party cookies will stop the YouTube cookies listed above without affecting the rest of the website, although the video may not play. Blocking cookies needed for an enabled website function may affect that function. Browser settings alone may not stop every pixel or other tracking technology.

To stop Google Analytics measuring your visits on any website, you can install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The website does not currently use a cookie banner. If we introduce advertising or other tracking, we will update this policy and the website controls before those technologies are enabled.

Links to other platforms

Our WhatsApp and social media links take you to other platforms. Those providers handle your activity under their own privacy and cookie policies. If we add other embedded content, such as maps or further social feeds, we will update this policy.

Updates and contact

We will update this policy as the website changes and display its publication date. Contact Elze at info@unparalleled.co.za if you have questions about cookies or your information.
